As reported earlier, your unanticipated journey to the home-world created a space anomaly that has caused a shift vector in my warp drive. The intensity of the space warp has been oscillated and the energy required to give us the capability to be at the home-planet in two Earth days has now been established.
I can now anticipate arriving on Stardate 0722.16 at 1530 hours. I will leave Planet Norwood at 0900 hours on Stardate 0721.16 and pass through the Illinois Galaxy later that same date which will put me near the Maquoketa System in the Iowa Galaxy around 1700 hours (presuming no malfunctions). At the Maquoketa System I will take a break at a local base and assess the warp drive to make certain the shift vector has been corrected. If all goes according to plan, I will start from the Maquoketa System on Stardate 0722.16 and pass through the remainder of the Iowa Galaxy into the Minnesota Galaxy. If I am able to pass the Eisenberg 35 Cluster in the greater Mayo System at 1430 and arrive at the home-planet on schedule.
So cute, he looks like he is in a cocoon. Hope he had a wonderful due date day today.

Stay calm, indeed!

[That was the formal reporting – now, love and kisses! I still will not be calm until I see you, your grandfather.]
